Green card for nurses- does that include dental nurses (dental assistant)?
No.

Nurses are four year degree graduates and have to be licensed by the state. There is a great shortage of them and it is only going to get worse before it gets better. Nurses in hospitals have to work shifts, work weekends and work holidays. They often have to work over time to cover the increased patient load or if a nurse is sick and someone has to cover the shift. They have to take care of any and all patients that get admitted to their ward including the worst scum of the earth.

"Dental Nurses" are not nurses at all. They are dental assistants, some with just a two year associates degree. There is no shortage of them in the USA. They get to work in a nice dental clinic Monday to Friday. No night shifts, no weekends, no holidays. They only have to take care of patients that actually have jobs and insurance or pay for their own care. If a patient is rude or scum, they can tell them to leave the office and never come back.

There is no reason to offer green cards to dental assistants as we have more than enough as the job is 1000 times better than being a nurse in a hospital.
Reply:Look at uscis.gov. I don't think we think of dental assistants as nurses, but I don't really know about the category lines for what we need, and I do know there are a bunch of health care ones. You just missed the h1b visa deadline, but you could try that next year with a work sponsor, even under general categories.
