Salaries are based on experience, certification/licensure and amount of time with current employer... it doesn't matter where you work, but how long you've worked there, what you are legally allowed to do, and how long you've been doing it for.
Does a dental assistant for a orthodontist make more that others?
I don't think so, but it does vary from office to office. I'm an assistant for a general dentist and my friend was offered a job at the ortho office, which was gunna pay like $4 less than I get and we've been working the same amount of time and went to the same school and everything.
Reply:I think they don't because a dental hygentist would make more than the ortho field.
