I am getting ready to graduate. I will be a dental assistant. Guys can be dental assistants too! I know one. Some went to my school.

Any dental assistant out there? How do u think of dental assistant job?
Only women can be dental assistants, because most dentists in private practice work independently, and the main purpose of a dental assistant is to be a chaperon in the presence of female customers.


Basically, a dental assistant has to keep the place clean between patients, function as a secretary, help to handle the suction tube during procedures and prepare the equipment and materials that the dentist needs for each procedure.


This profession is best for females who are pleasant looking, able to communicate fluently bilingually, and have a pleasant personality. The key is that you should have qualities that will make a customer feel at ease and served like a king.


I think its a great job for pretty gals who are looking for an easy job and a pay range of around $1500.
