What do you think about this dental assistant?

If you're the patient and your dentist's assistant asked you what you do after work before coming to the dentist, would you think she was being nosey and trying to get in your business or just trying to make conversation to relax you?

I think she was being nosey. I think that you have your own personal life. She should not want to get into your business she has a job to do. Not to upset the patient is one thing that she is doing wrong. Good Luck though.

Reply:Actually she was probably trying to just make simple conversation and make you feel more comfortable by taking an interest in what you do (when she could probably care less) while waiting for your dental appointment. Report It

Reply:just trying to make conversation with you and relax you...trust me i've trained many dental assistants and sometimes they feel awkward and really dont know what to say...sometimes say the wrong thing...ive been there when they have...trust me questions have been worse trust me the questions could be like are you brushing at all...fired on girl for that...that was just wrong and wrong to say..they really dont have common sense sometimes...i can attest to that...you could always make something up next time...have fun with it:)he he:)have fun
