I have a question regarding my wage as an expanded dental assistant.?

I've worked as an expanded assistant for a Cosmetic Dentist for 10 years now. I am his lead assistant and am currently making $19.00 an hour. We do lots of oral surgery, Implants, crowns, veneers, composite fillings, zoom bleaching ect., ect. We also do conscious sedation and I'm in charge of administering all the I.V.s. I'm also in charge of all the ordering of Implants and supplies for the office. I enjoy my job dearly, but am starting to feel taken advantage of. I stand all day during chairside and the back office never takes a break during the day, I usually get a 30 min. lunch. The doctor tells the front office that his assistants are the work horses of the office, but his front office makes $26.00 an hour and gets to relax and visits amongst themselves throughout the day. Should I be feeling taken advantage of?

Please clarify: state you work in, years with employer, cross trained, number of assistants under you. Same for 'front office'... thanks. :)
