My husband is stationed here in California, and I want to go to school to become a dental assistant will Texas recognize my certificate of achievement from California?? (Texas is my home town and when my husband gets out of the military we're going back) How does Texas handle out of state dental assistants?

Go to www.DANB.org and look up both CA and TX... this site will show you what's required for each state.
The DANB certification exam is recognized nationwide, but if there are other requirements, this site will tell you. Your Certificate of Achievement translates into 'I took a class', but some states require more than that....
