I am 22 yrs old and I am currently waiting to be accepted for the radiography program at my school but it is hard to get into and if i do not get accepted this fall I am going to change my major and I was considering LPN or Dental Assistant. I know RN's make more $ but I do not want to be an RN-too much schooling and even harder to get into their program. I was interested in the Dental Assistant Program but I'm concerned the pay is not good. Can anyone give me some good advice?

Hi.. i went to D.A. school first and then went back to dental hygiene school.. hygienists of course, make more money but i decided to go back to being a dental asst. b/c i love it! it is great! i make $13/hr. which isnt great but isnt bad either. plus if you ever want to have kids you can only work a couple of days if you want to.
