Is it true that at 15 yrs old i can find a job as a dental assistant?

i know in the future i am going to try to become a dentist. someone who is in her last year of dentistry school told me i should find a job as a dental assistant at my age as long asthey are willing to train me. if anyone has details on this i would appreciate answers as well as what the job involves if possible.

in most states you can work as a "practical dentist assistant"


this is an unlicensed position that requires direct/constant supervision of the dentist. this classification is for those who are in a registered class or those being trained in office by the dentist. you still have to work following all the laws regarding minors employment.

Reply:i doubt it. i know certified nursing assistans have to be 16 and i think dental assistants would have to be at least that (dental assistants have more training than certified nursing assitants)
