Is dental assistant a good career?

I wanted to get a health trade, with good benefits, the whole thing.

and I live in louisiana area, so im interested in it.

i found an dental assistant school the tuition is $2,450.

Is dental assistant a good career?
Well, my dental hygienist loves it! She can work flexible hours, gets good pay, enjoys meeting a lot of people, likes the feeling of helping others with their oral health care. She actually was going to study elementary education but switched and has never regretted it. Check out the school's reputation first, though. Try to talk to others who've graduated from it and see what they say.
Reply:Yes if that is something you want to do.
Reply:Everyone i know that is a dental hygenist got in to orthodontics and loved it. Alos if you like kids you can be a pediatric dental worker.
Reply:Hey whatever you love to do. Dont go into any job for the money. You wont be happy.
Reply:Its a pretty good paying career yeah, id def do that then pursue dental school afterward, and then you'd be able to make MADDD money.
Reply:If you can handle having your hands in the mouths of really disgusting people.... go for it.

I mean really... Look at the way Americans take care of their bodies... can you imagine what things you are going to find when they open their mouths?

What strange wonders will you find? All sorts of really cool cold and herpes sores.... bleeding, puss oozing gums... black %26amp; yellow teeth...for those who have teeth....

Wait.... there's more: Just imagine the smells.... Before you make this career move, I suggest going down to your local town dump, take a long deep breath through your nose.... that's what you have to look forward to!

Sounds better each minute right?

I suppose you could always become a gynocologist... same views and smells, just a different hole...

Good luck with that...
