Is anyone a dental assistant of nurses assistant?

How do you like your job? Does it pay well? What pay can i expect? And hoe long does it take to become and assistant? I am currently looking into phlebotomy but I have also heard about the dental assistant and nurses assistant doing well and it onl taking a short time. The phlebotomy is a certificate program and it is a ten week course.

I was a CNA for 9 years. It took about 6 weeks of in-facility training and a state test to get the certification. It's not a bad paying job, but you really work hard. It can literally be "back breaking" work. You have to have a strong stomach, strong back, and a gentle heart. I worked for a nursing agency in Indiana. I made $16/hr during the week and $18/hr. on the weekends, plus a $1/hr shift differential. When I worked directly for a facility, I only made about half that.
