im a dental asst for 20 yrs now and it depends on two things.... the state you live in and the doctor you work for.


Norhteast pay good even great salaries


Southeast pay fair maybe good salaries but if you work for a top notch office and the doctor appreciates their staff then you are set.. $$$$$

Reply:I am a dental assistant and I love my job. I make good money and have great benefits, I think it just depends on who you work for and if they value there staff. I live in a small rural community and we have a very successful practice.
